CWB National Leasing celebrates 40 years of success, fun and giving back

CWB National Leasing started with a few people in the back of a gas station in September 1977, and this week, the company is celebrating 40 years of continuous growth and success.

The born and bred Winnipeg company has flourished into Canada’s equipment financing expert, having financed over $7.5 billion in equipment for 250,000 businesses across Canada, provided over 970 enriching careers and donated millions to community initiatives.

“We owe a great deal of our success to our creativity,” says Tom Pundyk, President & CEO, CWB National Leasing. “Over the years, our employees have recognized the importance of continuous change and innovative solutions. Despite the company’s growth and success over the past 40 years, CWB National Leasing isn’t all business all the time. Yesterday morning, employees had to dodge hundreds of flamingos on CWB National Leasing’s front lawn as they walked into the office.

That small operation from the 1970s may have expanded its business across the country, but it still maintains a charming, small business-like culture today.
